Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Carlos ‘Pote’ Vidal was raised in the small town of San German. Having been the smallest kid in class and always being picked on, Vidal began boxing at the age of 13. The intentions were to become so great at that sweet science that the other kids would stop picking on him. Vidal’s impressive amateur career consisted of him winning 104 fights with only 10 defeats.

The Two-time Puerto Rican National Champ was granted a scholarship to attend the prestigious school of Albergue, Olímpico in Salinas, PR which is considered to be the most complete sports center used by most professional athletes. He raises the bar by being known as the hardest worker in the room. Also setting a good example for his son and many of today’s youth. In late 2018, Vidal signed a co-promotional deal with Fists Of Legends.
