The 20 year old prospect of Puerto Rican descent was born in Detroit, MI.  Having a family with a long history in boxing, Janelson took to the sport at the young age of 8 years old. Ever since he first stepped into the Boxing gym, he has never looked back. Now residing in Detroit MI, Janelson compiled an impeccable amateur resumé which includes various championships throughout his career.

After ranking #6 worldwide and a record of 55-5, Janelson decided it was time to turn pro. Now under the guidance of his Co-Promoter Fists Of Legends, Janelson Hopes to become a World Champion in at least 3 different weight classes and hopefully become one of the many great superstars that Puerto Rico has created.
